Trade Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

•       Plan and govern annual Trade Budget and annual Trade Spend

•       Initiate Sales & Operational Planning meeting with all stake holders

•       Design the trade promotional strategy across channels to support in delivering the sales and KPIs targets

•       Define the Trade & POS Elements and resources to be utilized to augment the trade promotions

•       Forecast sales (brand wise and SKU wise) across channels/regions by analyzing the previous sales trend, marketing & trade marketing promotions and taking Production and Sales input (bottom up forecast)

•       Design channel wise planograms and developing merchandising standards for all brands and channels of the organization

•       Ensure visibility standards are continuously met across all regions and channels as per the merchandising planograms

•       Analyze the effectiveness of regional merchandising teams

•       Manage Local Modern Trade and International Modern Trade teams for all regions

•       Oversee the Key Accounts (Key Accounts & Institutions) contracts and implementations

•       Evaluate Trade Terms Structure and finalizing front end/back end margins based on market norms & organization’s bottom line goals

•       Successful implementation of planned and ad-hoc Brand Activations of the BUCP

•       Review Go-To-Market (RTM) strategy of all channels to ensure optimized sales

•       Channel and customer segmentation and classification

•       Deploy asset management mechanism to track all trade visibility assets deployed in trade across all divisions

•       Devise trade building blocks for New Product Launches and ensure its successful execution

•       Initiate new channel development and rural development plans to increase reach and sales of the brands

•       MIS & related tools development and improvement to ensure sales and KPIs are timely and accurately reflecting

•       Support the MIS team in atomization of sales booking/reporting and merchandising processes

•       Lead the retail audit analysis to determine the performance in category volume, value, numeric and weighted growth & share analysis
